About Sensilchem

Sensilchem provides functional silica, specialty additives and silica-based adsorbent solutions for selected overseas customers across animal nutrition, food powders, oral care, agrochemical formulations, industrial water treatment, coatings, defoamers and plastic processing. Sensilchem supports material selection, sampling, application validation and reliable supply.

Who we are

Longyan Shenghe Trading Co., Ltd. has exported silica and functional additives since 2009 under the CENSIL® and Sensilchem® brands. We work with overseas manufacturers, formulators and technical channels — customers who have a process problem and the capability to test a solution.

How we work

The method is deliberately narrow: find the application problem, match a suitable material, use testing to move it forward. Process profiling before quoting, documentation and compliance boundary confirmed before shipping, and support through the trial until the result is readable.

Responsibility

We keep the claims modest and verifiable. Feed-grade material comes from FAMI-QS certified production, and the sale of food-additive silica runs under an ISO 22000 food safety management system. We prefer paper and PE-lined bags on returnable pallets, consolidate shipments rather than air-freighting production lots, and ship the documentation set electronically. Where a customer has a supplier sustainability questionnaire, we complete it with figures from the producing plant rather than estimates — and say so when a figure is not available.

How we supply

Start small, then repeat
A first order of 200 kg is enough to run a production trial. Once the grade has proven itself on your process, supply moves to regular repeat orders against your schedule.
Built for the jobs large producers skip
Small volumes, several grades on one order, second-source qualification, niche applications and regional projects. That is the space we work in, and it is the reason customers come to us.
Certified where it matters
FAMI-QS for trading of specialty feed ingredients, ISO 22000 food safety management for food-additive silica, and an International Halal certificate. All three are on the quality page.

On data: when a customer sends a sustainability questionnaire we fill it in with the actual figures from the producing plant, not with estimates. Where a figure is not available to us, we say so rather than supplying a number that looks right.

How we got here

Fifteen years of adding one application track at a time, each opened by a grade that had to earn its place on a customer's line first. The certifications sit where they do because a market asked for them before we went into it.

  1. 2009

    Company founded

    Sensilchem is established. The first precipitated silica line comes on stream at the producing plant we work with, and the first export order ships the same year.

  2. 2010

    CENSIL brand registered

    The CENSIL naming is adopted across the range, starting with the carrier and flow-aid grades 260P, 265P and 280P.

  3. 2016

    Into coating matting

    CENSIL 230W, 525L and 560N launch, taking the range into coating matting and rheology across waterborne and solvent-based systems.

  4. 2018

    Film antiblock and masterbatch

    CENSIL 773, 779, 185P, 165GR and 185GR launch, taking the range into film antiblock and masterbatch feeding.

  5. 2020

    Fluoride-removal screening grades

    CENSIL 320, 310 and 500 are put forward as silica-based carrier candidates for fluoride-removal screening in industrial water treatment.

  6. 2021

    FAMI-QS certified

    Bureau Veritas certifies the feed safety and quality management system to the FAMI-QS Code for trading of specialty feed ingredients — the market-access requirement for feed additives in Europe. The application laboratory is upgraded the same year to bench, pilot and production-line validation.

  7. 2023

    ISO 22000 certified

    The food safety management system covering the sale of food-additive silicon dioxide is certified to ISO 22000:2018.

  8. 2023

    Eighteen grades, nine application tracks

    The range covers feed, food powder, oral care, agrochemical, defluoridation, coatings, defoamer, film antiblock and masterbatch, serving customers across several regions.

  9. 2026

    International Halal

    Silica is certified under the International Halal scheme, opening the markets that require it.

Where the material goes

CENSIL grades ship from Fujian to manufacturers in 13 countries across five regions. Each market brings its own documentation requirements and its own climate — both of which we confirm before the first shipment rather than after it.
