Plastic Film Antiblock

For PE, PP and PET film manufacturers — blown film, cast film, BOPP, BOPET, CPP and laminating film. Silica particles create the right surface microroughness to reduce interlayer blocking and improve opening and downstream converting efficiency.

Where we add value

  • Reduce interlayer blocking in film rolls and improve opening, winding and unwinding efficiency.
  • Balance antiblock effect, haze, clarity, coefficient of friction and dispersion.
  • Offer low-iron, high-purity and conventional precipitated silica candidate routes.

Who this track serves

  • PE, PP, PET, BOPP, BOPET, CPP and PA film manufacturers.
  • Food packaging film, industrial packaging film, laminating film and functional film companies.
  • Film customers producing their own masterbatch or working closely with functional masterbatch plants.

Grades on this track

Low-iron high-purity routes and a conventional precipitated route, so optical requirements and cost position can both be tested. Final selection follows your film type, target haze, opening and COF requirements.

We publish the selection logic, not the numbers. Data sheets are issued per enquiry so the figures match the current supplier revision and your application.

Typical values for orientation only, not a specification. The current supplier technical data sheet governs for quotation, COA and customer testing — request it for the grade you are evaluating.

How we approach it

CENSIL 773 / 779 can be run first as the low-iron, high-purity route, with CENSIL 185P as a conventional precipitated comparison. Final selection follows the customer's film type and target haze, opening and friction requirements.

The material you use now, the formulation or resin, the equipment and the target you need to hit. That is enough for us to say whether we have something worth testing.
