Agrochemical Carrier

For local plants that already hold registration and run WP/WG/SC formulation lines. The material only improves the physical performance of the formulation — carrier, absorption, flow, anti-caking and stability. It does not touch actives, efficacy or registration responsibility.

In short: Sensilchem supplies functional silica for agrochemical carrier — wp / wg inert carrier, sc anti-caking and rheology. The CENSIL grades quoted on this track are CENSIL 260P, CENSIL 265P, CENSIL 280P. We only provide inert material support around the physical stability of the formulation. Look at the formulation type, the existing recipe and the real problem first, then screen samples against it. Specifications are issued per enquiry, and the fit is confirmed on your own line.

What does silica do in agrochemical carrier?

  • Liquid absorption, powder flow and anti-caking support for WP / WG.
  • Auxiliary screening for physical stability and settling control in SC formulations.
  • Validation designed around the actual formulation type, recipe and process problem — no blanket substitution promises.
Scope note — this track is limited to physical performance. Sensilchem supplies inert carrier material only and takes no position on active ingredients, efficacy or product registration, which remain the responsibility of the registered formulator.

Who is this track for?

  • WP / WG / SC formulation plants holding local registration and manufacturing licences.
  • Agrochemical companies with formulation labs, production lines and QC capability.
  • Customers who need to improve dust, disintegration, settling or bottle residue.

Which CENSIL grades are used for agrochemical carrier?

The same absorption gradient used on the feed track, evaluated here as an inert carrier. We only run this track with customers who already hold local registration and manufacturing licences.

We publish the selection logic, not the numbers. Data sheets are issued per enquiry so the figures match the current supplier revision and your application.

CENSIL 260P

The base carrier. Start here when the liquid load is moderate and the real problem is flow and caking rather than raw absorption capacity. Widely used in vitamin and trace-element premixes and as an anti-caking aid in dry food blends.

CENSIL 265P

The middle route. Takes more liquid than the base grade while keeping the powder free-running — the usual answer when 260P holds the load but the blend stops flowing.

CENSIL 280P

The high-loading candidate. For choline chloride, organic acids and other demanding liquids where the target loading is the binding constraint and the powder still has to discharge evenly.

How do you test a silica for agrochemical carrier?

Test dimensionWhat to watchWhat it tells you
Carrier absorptionSupport for the target actives and adjuvant systemTells you formulation feasibility
WG disintegrationDisintegration time and dispersionTells you end-use performance
SC stabilitySettling, hard sediment and bottle residueTells you storage stability
Dust and flowProduction, sieving and packing behaviourTells you plant operability

Which reference brands do customers benchmark against?

Customers commonly benchmark against Evonik precipitated carrier silica such as SIPERNAT® 22, Quechen Silicon carrier-grade precipitated silica, and Madhu Silica precipitated carrier grades.

Trademarks belong to their respective owners and are named for orientation only. No equivalence is claimed; fit is confirmed by your own trial.

Which grade should you start with?

We only provide inert material support around the physical stability of the formulation. Look at the formulation type, the existing recipe and the real problem first, then screen samples against it.
