Oral Care Silica

For manufacturers who compound and fill their own paste. We screen cleaning-type, structure-type and high-purity fine-powder silica routes to help balance cleaning, viscosity, appearance, extrudability and long-term stability.

Where we add value

  • Set up a joint test path across cleaning performance, paste structure and consumer feel.
  • Reduce syneresis, phase separation and appearance instability by comparing materials of different surface area, purity and pore structure.
  • Start from a single small-sample validation and expand to multi-SKU paste projects.

Who this track serves

  • Toothpaste plants with formulation, compounding and filling capability.
  • Local brand manufacturers, OEM / ODM and private-label filling operations.
  • Oral-care customers developing multiple SKUs who are willing to run material screening.

Grades on this track

Candidate routes across different surface areas, purities and pore structures. Oral care is a formulation-led track — selection is confirmed by RDA, viscosity and stability testing on your own paste, not by a datasheet.

We publish the selection logic, not the numbers. Data sheets are issued per enquiry so the figures match the current supplier revision and your application.

Typical values for orientation only, not a specification. The current supplier technical data sheet governs for quotation, COA and customer testing — request it for the grade you are evaluating.

Where we sit against the reference brands

Reference points include Evonik ZEODENT® (113, 165), PQ Corporation dental / toothpaste silica series, and Solvay specialty oral-care silica.

How we approach it

Decide first whether the customer wants to improve cleaning, paste structure or long-term stability, then choose the silica route and set up a formulation trial.

Tell us what is failing in the process

The material you use now, the formulation or resin, the equipment and the target you need to hit. That is enough for us to say whether we have something worth testing.
