CENSIL 500 is a high pore-volume silica in Sensilchem's porous silica family. Supplied as a coating matting grade, and used on the fluoride track as a high pore-volume comparison substrate when a screening programme needs a second reference point. It is quoted on the industrial fluoride removal, coating matting & rheology tracks. Specifications, the technical data sheet and a COA are issued per enquiry; the fit is confirmed on your own line.
Higher pore volume and surface development. These grades carry, stabilise and adsorb rather than simply keeping a powder loose.
A moderate-surface porous route for food powders, brewing stabilisation, toothpaste and flavour carriers. The general-purpose choice when structure matters more than sheer capacity.
The high-surface porous grade. Used in food and oral-care work where adsorption and structure both matter, and it is our preferred base material for fluoride-removal functionalisation screening — as a candidate substrate, not a finished adsorbent.
Run CENSIL 500 beside the material you use now, in your own system at the same loading, and read the dimensions below. We send a short test plan with every sample set.
| Test dimension | What to watch | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Effluent fluoride | Performance across different inlet concentrations | Tells you if the target is reachable |
| pH and competing ions | Alkalinity, sulphate, chloride, phosphate effects | Tells you real-wastewater fit |
| Dynamic breakthrough | Working capacity, breakthrough point, change-out cycle | Tells you project economics |
| Pressure drop and strength | Powdering, blockage or rapid pressure rise | Tells you if it can run in the plant |
| Cost per m³ | Pre-treatment, media, change-out, sludge and disposal | Tells you route competitiveness |

Technical data sheet at the current supplier revision with the test method behind each figure, a specification sheet, a certificate of analysis for every lot, SDS / MSDS and a use statement for the destination market. Sensilchem does not publish specification tables on the website; request the set by email and it arrives matched to your application.
The material you use now, the formulation or resin, the equipment and the target you need to hit. That is enough for us to say whether we have something worth testing.
