Industrial Fluoride Removal

A project-based validation track, not an off-the-shelf product. For fluoride concentrations that stay unstable after precipitation or conventional treatment, we screen functionalised silica-based carrier routes and confirm them with jar tests and dynamic column runs on the customer's real water.

Where we add value

  • A material screening direction for fluoride levels that remain unstable after front-end precipitation or conventional treatment.
  • Static jar tests, pH gradients, competing-ion checks and dynamic column runs — instead of promising performance from theoretical adsorption figures.
  • Project-style supply: samples, bench trials, trial orders, then replenishment by column packing volume.
Important — CENSIL 320 / 310 / 500 are silica-based carrier candidates for functionalisation screening at this stage. They are not validated or claimable fluoride-removal products. No fluoride-removal performance is promised before active-component documentation, customer water-sample bench tests and dynamic column results are available. Sensilchem does not accept responsibility for final engineered effluent quality.

Who this track serves

  • Industrial end users in semiconductors, electronic chemicals, plating and surface finishing, PV, fluorochemicals, metal processing and phosphorus chemistry.
  • Environmental engineering contractors and industrial water-treatment integrators.
  • Media packing and operating-service providers.

Grades on this track

These are silica-based carrier candidates for subsequent functionalisation screening — not validated fluoride-removal products. Suitability is established only through the customer's own water testing.

We publish the selection logic, not the numbers. Data sheets are issued per enquiry so the figures match the current supplier revision and your application.

Typical values for orientation only, not a specification. The current supplier technical data sheet governs for quotation, COA and customer testing — request it for the grade you are evaluating.

Where we sit against the reference brands

Alternative routes customers compare include activated alumina media (DI-tech / Weco Filters, Tramfloc, Actas® / Bee Chems), calcium-salt precipitation with coagulation, strong-base anion exchange resin, and RO / NF membrane systems. We do not push a hard replacement — we test whether polishing after precipitation is genuinely needed.

How we approach it

This is not a plain-silica fluoride removal solution. Confirm the raw water, the front-end process and the target effluent first, then use functionalised material in bench and dynamic column tests to establish whether there is real deep-removal value.

Tell us what is failing in the process

The material you use now, the formulation or resin, the equipment and the target you need to hit. That is enough for us to say whether we have something worth testing.
